This customer was experiencing moisture and a musty smell coming from the crawl space. The walls are cinder block and there was noticeable mold growing. The customer really wanted the crawl space enclosed/encapsulated and that is exactly what we were able to do.

We installed the white CleanSpace but we also installed our drainage matting and SilverGlo insulation. All three of these make a great team to fix any wet crawl space. The drainage matting works to direct any water that comes in directly to the sump pump where it needs to be. The SilverGlo insulation is better than fiberglass insulation because it won't mold and moisture can't ruin it. The CleanSpace is bright, durable, inorganic and waterproof. It will make any crawl space come to life while making sure it stays dry and closed off to any outside element including those unwanted critters.

This customer contacted our team of experts because she had recently bought her home and noticed her crawl space was wet and had a damp, musty smell coming from it. There was no sump pump and she really just wanted the entire area enclosed. 

We have just the system for what she needed. CleanSpace is a very thick plastic liner that is attached from the top of the walls, across the entire floor and wrapping all pillars too. This will completely seal off your home from the earth. The material is tear resistant so it can be walked on, have boxes stored on it and you don't have to worry about it ripping. Sally has a poured concrete foundation in her Harrison, MI home. Horizontal cracks were beginning to emerge, threatening the integrity of her home. She called Ayers for an inspection and we determined that PowerBraces would be the best solution for her.

Lori recently bought a new second home lake house in an area with many natural springs. She wanted to remodel the house but was unable to until she addressed her sinking foundation. Jennie and Tom's home was built in 1949, and was built atop a crawl space. They use their crawl space for additional storage, but the cold air that was coming through the floors was terrible. CleanSpace Wall System is a moisture barrier that uses a thick plastic liner along crawlspace walls to keep them dry and last decades longer. It also has antibacterial properties that prevent mold and bacteria growth. Damp air takes more energy to heat and cool. Cutting down on the moisture in the crawl space, in turn, will cut down on how much it costs to heat or cool the home. Rim joist insulation is done with spray foam to ensure the crawl space is tightly sealed. 

The job went off without a hitch, and Jennie was looking forward to warmer floors in the winder. Tom and Jennie were able to move their belongings back into the crawl space and know everything will remain cool, dry, and safe.
