Mel recently noticed leaking water in her basement and was sure her old sump pump failed. She researched her options and called Ayers to learn about waterproofing solutions. Our crew of professionals stopped by her house and recommended TripleSafe, the sump pump system designed to prevent failure. TripleSafe includes three pumps, one of which is battery-powered, in case of outages. Mel loves her new system!
Sandy and Mark’s basement near Rabbit River was constantly taking on water, leaving puddles and worries every time it rained. They needed a permanent solution to protect their home and stored valuables. Ayers installed a perimeter drainage system and a new sump pump to keep water out for good. Now, Sandy and Mark can enjoy a dry, secure basement without the stress of water damage.
Bernadean contacted Ayers because he had water issues within his crawl space. He had tried various things to try and fix the problem, even tried doing work on the gutters, and nothing seemed to work. The inspection done by Ayers determined that water was leaking through his foundation. The team suggested installing CleanSpace to provide the waterproofing he desired. CleanSpace utilizes a heavy-duty plastic liner encapsulating the entire crawl space and creating a moisture barrier. After CleanSpace was installed in Bernadean's home, he could live stress-free in his home!
Mr. Oshay was looking to redo a fixer-upper. The boarded up windows were a sign to Mr. Oshay that he had his work cut out for him. When he invited our foreman Evan in for an inspection, Even noticed a large number of cracks in his basement brick walls. The Cracks had progressed to the point that 2 of the walls were already bowing.
To remedy the issue, Evan and his team installed a set of GeoLock anchors. The outside of the bowed wall is excavated where a steel anchor is driven into the ground, and on the other side is a flat metal plate. The plate is bolted to the cracked wall and attached to the anchor on the other side. Once the pieces are aligned, the connecting screw is tighter till there is constant pressure being applied to the wall. The pressure corrects the wall and holds it in place, making it a permanent solution to Mr. Oshay's wall problem.
Mitchell noticed a large number of cracks on his basement brick walls. Not wanting to take any risks, he contacted Ayers. Upon arrival, our foreman Randy was able to listen to the home owner's concerns and inspect the area. He found bowing on many of the walls and prescribed GeoLock anchors to correct the problem.
GeoLock anchors are installed by digging out the soil outside of the cracked wall. A large metal anchor is secured in place and reburied. On the opposite side inside the home, a large metal plate is alined with the anchor and tightened till constant pressure pulls the wall back into place and permanently holds it there.
