Brandyn D. had bowed block foundation walls in his basement that allowed moisture and water to seep in through the cracks. This led to mold issues in the basement and the homeowner was looking for a reliable solution. To stabilize the bowed walls and prevent them from shifting or cracking any further, we installed the PowerBrace system. This system held the wall in place and can potentially shift it back to its proper position over time. The steel braces were installed in the floor at the base of the wall and then attached to the joists above the wall. After being secured into place with steel brackets, the beams acted as a brace on the wall to prevent it from shifting out of place. Like dental braces, these braces can pull the wall back to its preferred position.

Kevin called us because his walk ways to the house were unlevel. They had been sinking for a couple years but they were pretty bad and causing a tripping hazzard. We injected PolyLevel Foam to lift the sunken concete slabs and level out the walk ways. PolyLevel is a light weight foam that lifts up concrete slabs but strong enough to hold up under heavy loads on the pavement. It is waterproof and won't reacts with soil or moisture so that it won't wash away of degrade. The foam also has a very quick curing time of about 15 minutes so that you can walk or drive on it soon after the injection is complete.

The IceGuard system attached to the sump pump discharge line outside of the home. The IceGuard system allows water to escape from a sump pump discharge line if the pipe freezes or becomes blocked for any reason. Even if the pipe outlet is buried under a foot of ice and snow, the water can escape, allowing your sump pump to keep your basement dry.

A customer from Ada, MI called us about her basement and wanted a free estimate. We drove to her property and noticed that she needed a sump pump to pump the water out of the basement. So we installed our TripleSafe sump pump which is the best water fighting sump pump out there. TripleSafe is a sump pump with three different pumps in one liner.

The first being the 1/3 hp zoeller pump which does most of the pumping and is placed at the bottom of the liner. The second is the 1/2 hp zoeller that is placed slightly higher than the first. This pump is more powerful but will only be turned on when needed. The final pump is the battery-operated UltraSump DC which is used in case of a power outage, this pump can pump up to 24,000 gallons of water. Shotcrete is a concrete that we spray out of a fire hose on to the preexisting wall to reinforce it and make it as strong as ever before. We start by connecting the old wall to a framework that will help support the concrete being sprayed on the wall. We just build the new wall right on top of the other wall. This has fewer risk than lifting the entire house does and it is quicker and cheaper, making it easy for you.
