John realized his sump pump was not effectively doing its job. Water from outside leaked into his basement and began to pool, so he called Ayers to learn about our waterproofing solutions. After sending a team of experts to examine the property and determine the best solution, our team recommended our TripleSafe sump pump system and SaniDry XP dehumidifier. Installing TripleSafe will proactively defend against pump failure with a three-in-one pump system, containing a battery-powered pump for power outages. To ensure the basement remains dry, we installed a SaniDry XP dehumidifier designed to produce fresh, dry air and reduce potential mold growth. It is also ten times stronger than an average dehumidifier. This solution requires less maintenance and does not need to be emptied. John is ecstatic with his clean, dry basement!
Judy knew the sump pump in her home was old and worn down, but wasn't sure how to fix the problem, so she called Ayers for help. We sent a crew of experts to her home, and they recommended the TripleSafe sump pump. The best choice for Judy's basement and peace of mind was to install two TripleSafe systems, each containing three pumps to react during pump or power failure. Judy is happy to have a dry basement!
After recently purchasing a house in Byron Center, MI, this homeowner was eager to get started on home improvements. The basement didn’t need too much work, as it was just finished. But the owner was interested in changing up the natural light of the basement. The block window just didn’t fit the look he was going for in the basement. We knew exactly what he meant and sent out a system design specialist to draw out a plan for a replacement egress window. After going over the possible options, the owner elected to add in an egress window just a few feet away from the rectangular block window, as you can see when comparing the two photos. The big difference between the two is that the 4-foot-tall egress window is below ground level. And thanks to the waterproof material of the well, the window will remain protected from floods or eroding, while allowing in more light than the previous.
Patrick had water was coming into his finished basement but never had water issues previously. He put a shop vac in the corner where the water was comign in & it was pulling out about 20 gal of water/day. He needed a fix fast and one that would leave his basement dry. We installed the WaterGuard system for a waterproof solution and piece of mind. The WaterGuard is a French drain system that is installed below the floor but above the foundation so that it won't clog. This system collects water that seeps into the basement and drains it to the sump pump.
Kyle noticed that he had water damage in his basment on the walls and on the floor. He wasn't sure where the water was coming from or what to do about it so he gave us a call to help him find a solution. We installed WaterGuard which is a French drain that is designed to be installed below the floor slab. This drain collects water that seeps through basement walls and drains it to your sump pump. We also installed the SaniDry to keep the basement dry. SaniDry has a powerful blowing motor that keeps dry air circulating throughout the space, drying out your basement or crawl space. Collected water can be drained into a sump pump pit, a section of your perimeter drain, or away via a condensation pump. This dehumidifier is super efficient and has a small size so it doesn't take up much space in your basement.
