Glenda worked at a church over 100 years old and noticed water intrusion in the basement. She called Ayers for solutions, so we sent a team to the church. We recommended our WaterGuard and TripleSafe sump pump system to keep heavy water volumes under control. First, we installed WaterGaurd below the basement floor around the walls to ensure leaks get collected in this drainage system. To conceal the drain, we pour concrete over it. Next, we replaced her old corroded sump pump with TripleSafe. This three-pump system fits in one durable liner and can keep up with higher volumes of water. Glenda is thrilled to keep this church in better shape for all the visitors!
Isaac noticed the floor of his crawl space was allowing water to seep through. He didn't know how to fix it, so he gave Ayers a call. Our team went to assess the issue and make a recommendation. They recommended CleanSpace, an antimicrobial vapor barrier installed on the floors and walls of the crawl space, preventing moisture and mold growth. Isaac is excited to have a clean and fresh crawl space!
A crack emanating from a window in this home's foundation was the final obstacle to the pending sale of the house. When we get calls from people in the middle of a sale like this, we try to turn it around as quickly as possible. Luckily, we were able to send out both our System Design Specialist and production crew in short order, and from the time our customer called to the time the project was finished was six days.
A FlexiSpan repair took care of the crack, which the owners had tried to repair themselves to no avail.
A call about a wet basement will always grab our attention. This homeowner was dealing with pooling on her floor. The moisture from the ground outside found a way into the basement through several cracks in the walls. You can see in the during/after shot where the water was pooling under the wood panels.
The best way to fight leaky basement walls is with a drainage system. These systems run around the entire perimeter of the basement and any obstacles. Water is most likely to seep down the walls and collect in the joints where floor and wall meet, so the pipes are also placed there. In the case of monolithic or thick floor, where jackhammering could result in a long and messy installation, we use the DryTrak system. Unlike our other systems, DryTrak piping is installed above the floor. The piping system will direct water to the homeowner’s new Super Sump and deposit the water outside. And just like that, her wet basement is a thing of the past!
The homeowner called us when he noticed that the support beams in his crawl space looked old and rotted. He wanted a solution before the problem got worse. We installed the SmartJack Crawl Space Support System to provide a permanent solution to the problem. The system is made of up steel beams that are attached to the floor joists and a sturdy base on the ground. This will stabilize the floor and take the pressure off the old support beams.
