With colder weather came colder floors in Teresa's home, and she hated having cold feet. She researched her options online and called Ayers to learn about the issue. Our crew of professionals visited her home to evaluate and realized the vents in her crawl space allowed cold air underneath her house. They suggested and installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier, a highly durable and antimicrobial material. Ronald was in the process of finishing his basement. The last step was adding an egress window to make the space more inviting. He called Ayers to begin this installation. Our egress windows are much larger than the average basement window. This addition will brighten the room and allow more fresh air to circulate. The window provides a safe exit option for emergencies that may arise. With this new window, the dark, gloomy feel of the basement is no longer an issue!

Tomas had issues with the wooden support structures in his crawl space, so he called Ayers. He needed a more substantial support system, so we had our crew inspect the area to determine the best replacement. Our System Design Specialists recommended our SmartJacks. This solution will effectively support sagging beams and floor joists or provide supplemental column support where an existing column and pier foundation has settled. This solution utilizes a strong, steel foundation base installed in the subfloor for the home to sit on. The steel columns are attached to this base and can be extended in the future. We installed a steel supplemental support beam above the columns for additional help. Tomas was happy with the new support system that keeps his home stable and safe!
