Our friends from Lansing, MI, Dave & Lorie were highly satisfied with prior work we completed at their home. So, when they noticed their driveway sinking away from the garage, they knew right away who they wanted to call, us! We used our unique product offering Poly Level to return Dave & Lorie’s cement to its original position. PolyLevel raises concrete through unique qualities of expanding polyurethane foam, making it: environmentally safe, affordable, waterproof to prevent future erosion, quick and mess free, and a permanent solution! Poly Level not only results in a solution that looks better and lasts longer, it is also less destructive to the applied surface. Thanks Dave & Lorie for another opportunity to beautify your home!
Shelly had a partically finished basement that was leaking. We installed the WaterGuard system which is a French drain that is under the floor to collect water as it seeps in. The water collected is then sent to the sump pump to be discharged outside the home keeping the basement dry.
Crawlspace protection is important and often mislooked by homeowners. To fully protect your crawlspace, Ayers recommends the combination of CleanSpace and a SaniDry dehumidifier to create a healthy environment for your crawlspace. The CleanSpace vapor barrier (white) blocks moisture coming in through the foundation while the SaniDry (not pictured) takes the moisture out of the air to prevent wood rot, mold growth and musty smells. Together, these additions create an effective environment that will save energy bills as well as keep your home and you healthy.
This home had some very severe cracks in the basement and cracking could be seen outside the house as well. We were called for a solution as the house was a rental proprty and they wanted the home to be safe. We installed the PowerBrace Wall Repair System to stabilize the wall. The system consists of steel beams that are secured to the joists above the wall with steel brackets. The PowerBraces allow for tightening to attempt to raise the wall back to its original position. This system doesn't involve any exterior excavation, installs quickly, and has minimal disruption to the basement.
This Lansing couple would like to finish their basement and turn it into a playroom for their kids. They want the space to be safe and done correctly. We installed Egress Windows to the basement. Egress windows are for cases of emergencies and allow for a safe exit. The larger size of the window allows more light to enter the basement as well making the room look larger!
