This 1940's home had some serious bowing walls. There were cracks not only on the inside of the walls but the outside as well. The customer bought the home on land contract and couldn't even move in until the home was considered stable and safe. They called the right people, because here at Ayers we have multiple solutions that can fix bowing walls. We did a thorough inspection of the inside and outside of the home and came up with the best solution that would fix the problem once and for all. 

The answer was to install our PowerBrace System. PowerBraces are designed to fix the problem permanently so there is not worrying about having to have something else done in the future. PowerBraces can actually straighten the wall over time back to its original position. There is also no heavy equipment needed so there won't be any disturbance to the lawn/landscaping. 

Our friends Ron & Sue from Battle Creek, MI were having issues with one of the walls in their basement bowing outward. With continuing observation, the couple could tell the walls condition was progressively getting worse. The crack in this wall grew to nearly half the horizontal distance of the entire wall. Ron & Sue became observably frightened about their walls future and called us in search of professional advice. To help this couple start the New Year out right we went to their home and devised a complete solution consisting of three PowerBraces. Water was entering Vivian’s basement through her walls. Tired of worrying about her basement flooding, she called our team to discuss waterproofing options. We installed the CleanSpace Basement Finishing Wall System to prevent any more water intrusion. Using a poly sheet material to completely cover basement foundation walls, this system acts as a vapor and moisture barrier. The material is waterproof, stain resistant and can be applied over many different types of surfaces. This system was perfect for Vivian and put a stop to all water intrusion into her basement immediately.

Nicole wanted a finished basement, but she couldn’t keep water out. So our team installed the ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring in Nicole’s basement. This flooring is not vulnerable to mold or water damage because it is made completely from inorganic material. In addition, this flooring works perfectly with our waterproofing systems. This flooring will allow Nicole to have nice wood flooring in her basement without having to worry about it being ruined by water damage.

Alan was having some water issues in one of the rooms in his basement. The room was unfinished and wanted to get the water issue fixed as quick as possible so it would not create other issues in the basement. Upon inspection we found that the water was coming in where 2 of the walls met. We had just to solution to keep his basement room dry. We first installed the WaterGuard system which is a French drain system that is under the floor. It collects water that leaks into the area and drains it to the sump pump. The system installs quickly and all concrete is restored after installation. We then installed a new sump pump for him to keep water out of his basement. We installed the TripleSafe which gives the homeowner peace of mind and offers three levels of protection to the basement.
