GeoLock Anchors Offer Foundation Repair for Alger, MI Home

Lynette needed solutions to tackle the foundation issues she was running into that were causing her block foundation wall to start bowing. She made the call to Ayers for our foundation repair options. Our System Design Specialists determined GeoLock Anchors would work best after conducting a free inspection. GeoLock Anchors have an interior anchor plate that sits on the inside of the foundation wall. Then a steel cable is drilled through the plate, the wall, and the soil to a predetermined distance from the home. Lastly, another plate is anchored to the other end of the cable in stable soil. This system will prevent further bowing caused by soil pressure. Lynette was relieved to have a foundation repair system installed that will keep her home safe!

This is a supplemental support system built for crawl space applications and made of steel columns that will support her failing support structures. This will lift the home back to its original position and ensure the home's weight is supported and stabilized. This also consists of a sturdy base installed in the ground and attached are these strong, steel columns that extend to maximize support. Sinking Foundation Repair in Harrison, MI

Lori recently bought a new second home lake house in an area with many natural springs. She wanted to remodel the house but was unable to until she addressed her sinking foundation. After our initial consultation we informed Lori we would need to install SmartJacks to stabilize the home. SmartJacks are steel supports to balance the foundation of your crawl space, lifting it to its original position. They are adjustable so that as your home adjusts and settles, it can always be supported. We also installed CleanSpace Wall System. CleanSpace uses a thick plastic liner along basement and crawl space walls to keep them dry and last decades longer. After these few adjustments, Lori can continue her home's remodel and knows that she can live there safely for years to come.

PowerBrace Corrects Cracked Foundation Wall in 100 Year-Old Home in Harrison, MI

Sally was in serious need of a solution for her bowing foundation wall in her 100 year-old Harrison, MI home. She looked around at the possible options and decided on trusting our professionals at Ayers! We sent a crew to inspect her basement that had the concerning crack in it and they decided on PowerBrace.

With PowerBrace installed, this will correct the cracked concrete wall in her basement. This is a foundation repair system that will secure bowing walls in place. Wall Anchors Save Bowing Basement Wall in New Era, MI

These homeowners called because the block foundation wall in their basement was failing. One of the first signs of a bowing wall is horizontal cracking, which is what we found in this home. Without a proper solution to stabilize the wall, the soil surrounding the home will continue to put pressure on the wall and the cracks will continue to increase in width, resulting in a failing wall.

Our team of experts installed the Geo-Lock wall anchors to stabilize the wall and hopefully move it back to its original position. To install this system, we started by digging a hole in the soil outside of the foundation wall where we placed a steel earth anchor. A steel rod was drilled into the wall and was then connected to the anchor in the ground. Finally, we installed an interior wall plate over the rod in the basement and we replaced the backfill and sod outside.

This system immediately stabilized the basement wall and has the ability to be tightened over time to shift the wall back to its original position.
