In order to maintain a healthy, mold-free crawl space area it’s important that the space is moisture-free. Crawl spaces are often damp which allows mold and mildew to grow. Our job is to eliminate the moisture so that your crawl space remains without pests, odor, mold, and more! This client requested help with restoring his crawl space to its original dry state. With the help of our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier Liner and SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier we were able to leave him and his family with long-lasting results!
Barry K's dirt crawl space allowed cold, damp air to seep in which led to cold floors in the room above this crawl space. We laid down a drainage mat which is made specifically for crawl spaces, are perfect for uneven floors, and they capture any water that may enter the space. We then encapsulated the space with our CleanSpace crawl space liner.
Denise B.'s dirt crawl space had several issues that stemmed from their unsealed, uninsulated walls and floor. Cold air and moisture freely entered the crawl space which made for cold floors upstairs. We added a drainage matting to the entire floor which works on even or uneven surfaces and captures water that may enter the crawl space. We then installed a polyetherane CleanSpace crawl space liner on top which serves as a vapor barrier.
Paul noticed a musty smell coming from his two crawl spaces and called us to come and take a look. Our system design specialist found evidence of standing water, and that both crawl spaces had sand floors which can contribute greatly to moisture in the air, and create that musty smell. Our team installed discharge lines to carry any water away from the house, and CleanSpace, a vapor barrier that will ensure that any exposed earth won't contribute to mold growth and unwanted smells. CleanSpace also gives a more finished look and, now that he doesn't have to worry about unwanted water, enables Paul to now use his crawl spaces as potential storage. Our team was able to work fast and complete the project so Paul can continue renting his house out in the summer.
This crawl space had high moisture levels and poor air quality, which eventually led to cracking in the drywall above. With a cinderblock foundation and outside entry, it was vulnerable to dampness and lacked proper protection.
Ayers transformed the space by installing a CleanSpace vapor barrier and drainage matting, creating a protective seal that prevents moisture from entering. We also added a Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity in check. Now, the crawl space is clean, dry, and protected—helping to maintain the structural integrity of the home and improving air quality throughout.
