Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Kim’s 2004 Onekama, MI vacation home is almost done being renovated. She and her husband are planning on retiring in the home, but want to finish the basement. They wanted a few egress windows installed in order to go ahead with the rest of the project.

We spoke to Melissa over the phone to discuss our egress windows. She wanted a larger window to increase the natural light in her basement to brighten the space. Our egress windows are perfect since they are much larger than the standard basement window, and the opening allows for a safe exit in emergencies. We attach an exterior well with steps to ensure this exit is quick and easy. Melissa's basement feels much more open and welcoming now!

Carol began feeling very uneasy with the water intrusion through the walls in her basement. There was only so much a towel and bucket could do, so she called Ayers for a permanent waterproofing resolution. Our crew inspected the problem area and determined our WaterGuard system, paired with our TripleSafe sump pump system, will eliminate the leaks. With WaterGuard, this top-notch subfloor drainage system will collect water leaking through the walls. This solution is installed along the perimeter of the basement, ensuring Carol won't have to deal with pooling water. Concrete is poured over the drain to conceal it. Next, we added TripleSafe, a system consisting of three pumps that fit in one heavy-duty liner. Each pump can keep up with heavy volumes of water, and the last pump is even battery-operated for power failures. Carol is relieved with the high-performing, permanent solutions provided to her!

Kathleen was frantically trying to find waterproofing solutions for her basement. Water was seeping through the walls down there. The fans were a temporary fix, so she called Ayers for a permanent one. One of our system design specialists inspected the area and determined our WaterGuard and TripleSafe sump pump systems would eradicate the leaks. First, WaterGuard is an interior drainage system that fits in the subfloor of the basement below the walls. The drain collects the water and directs it to the sump pump instead of pooling on the floor. We pour concrete over the drain to conceal it.
