Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Bryan and Michelle had us out to do some waterproofing in the past but only in certain areas in the basement. They recently had some more water coming in from cracks in their downstairs shower. We installed the WaterGuard Below Floor Drain to keep water out of the finished basement. It connects with the sump pump that we installed previously to keep water pumping up. The drain is installed below the floor but atop the foundation footing to keep it from flooding. All concrete is restored after installation so you don't have an unsightly drain in the space.

Tonnie was having flooding issues in the basement of his office building. He called our team to help him fix this problem. He needed us to install the WaterGuard System and TripleSafe Sump Pump after regular work hours so his business would not be interrupted. Our team was able to work with his requests and get his basement dry within just a few days. WaterGuard is an indoor drainage system that is protecting Tonnie's basement from water damage by catching any leakage from higher walls or floors before it reaches his basement floor. TripleSafe is a Sump Pump system that’s main goal is to keep his basement dry. It is powered by batteries which allows it to protect his basement from floods even during power outages.

Kara bought this Muskegon home just a couple days before water started leaking into her basement due to the snow. The water was coming in where the floor and walls meet in 2 areas. We had a solution for her to keep her basement dry. We first installed the WaterGuard system which is a French drain that is installed under the floor but above the foundation so it does not clog. The owners of this condominium complex knew something was very wrong when water started entering two of the condos, doing damage to both the drywall and the carpet. After redoing the landscaping to divert water from the foundation was unsuccessful, they feared they had a crack in the foundation. This indeed was the problem, but it wasn’t one that our team couldn’t remedy. Our solution was to excavate the dirt surround the foundation to prep it for the application of SentrySeal to seal the cracks in the foundation. Additionally, our team installed a sump pump and drain tile to ensure that from now on, water is rerouted away from the foundation, preventing leaks. 

Mark from Muskegon, MI needed his basement waterproofed. After going out for our free inspection, we decided that the best case of action was to suggest to Mark that we install our WaterGuard Below Floor Drain.

As its name states, WaterGuard rests below your floor slab, but on top of the foundation footing. This is important because now that it’s on top of the footing, mud will not get into the drain and clog it, simply because the drain is not sitting in the mud. The WaterGuard also has a drain outlet directly to the sump pump and will not cause any damage to the foundation. Also, since it's installed below the floor slab, you won't even be able to notice that it's there once it's completely installed.
