Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

After recently purchasing a house in Byron Center, MI, this homeowner was eager to get started on home improvements. The basement didn’t need too much work, as it was just finished. But the owner was interested in changing up the natural light of the basement. The block window just didn’t fit the look he was going for in the basement. We knew exactly what he meant and sent out a system design specialist to draw out a plan for a replacement egress window. After going over the possible options, the owner elected to add in an egress window just a few feet away from the rectangular block window, as you can see when comparing the two photos. The big difference between the two is that the 4-foot-tall egress window is below ground level. And thanks to the waterproof material of the well, the window will remain protected from floods or eroding, while allowing in more light than the previous. 

Patrick had water was coming into his finished basement but never had water issues previously. He put a shop vac in the corner where the water was comign in & it was pulling out about 20 gal of water/day. He needed a fix fast and one that would leave his basement dry.
