A customer needed an egress window installed because she had water leaking into her basement. So our team installed an egress window. Most windows offer minimal protection against outside air entering the home due to poor insulation around the window. Egress windows will help ventilate your indoor areas and prevent unwanted allergens from entering your house.
The customer called us because after purchasing her house last fall, there was a little water in the crawl space. But after the recent deluge of summer rain, her crawl space had EIGHT INCHES of water in it. Any amount of water is inconvenient, but that much? What a nightmare!
To take care of the flooding, we installed a TripleSafe sump pump along with yards of crosstile to make sure all of the water diverted to the pump and drainage system. She's also ready for the winter with IceGuard and LawnScape outlets attached to the discharge line and vent covers on the crawl space vents.
The new sump pump and discharge will take care of any water in the crawl space, and to cover all the bases, we installed a SaniDry dehumidifier to eliminate the ambient moisture.
Tara was interested in having an egress window and well installed so she called our team. Egress windows will help ventilate your indoor areas and prevent unwanted allergens from entering your house. Most normal windows offer minimal protection against outside air entering the home due to poor insulation around the window. Also, Egress Windows provide a safe exit in case of emergency so they are required in finished basement living areas. In addition, these windows provide lots of natural light.
Aaron's basement was in trouble due to the water intrusion during heavy rains. He trusted Ayers for the job, so he gave us a call for our professional recommendations. Our System Design Specialists recommended our WaterGuard System and TripleSafe Sump Pump System. The WaterGuard will act as a drain that collects water seeping in through the walls. We install the drainage system in the subfloor and around the perimeter of the basement. This system will be concealed with concrete so it'll blend with the rest of the space when it dries. TripleSafe is a three-pump system fitting in one trusty liner that will keep the water off Aaron's belongings. Now he won't have to stress about these troublesome leaks popping up randomly anymore!
Robert realized water leaked into his basement after the last snowstorm around the seams of the floor and walls. He wasn't sure how to fix the issue, so he researched his options and called Ayers for help. Our specialists stopped by his home to assess the problem and suggest a solution. They recommended and installed WaterGuard, an advanced drainage pipe system designed to prevent clogging by sitting above the home's footing rather than alongside it. Robert loves his dry basement!
