This Vicksburg homeowner had a crack in his basment wall that had been there for years but it was starting to get worse. The bowing wall was going to eventually push on pipes if it was not fixed. Floors above crawl spaces are vulnerable due to the moisture and soils in your crawl space. The SmartJack system is a permanent fix to these issues. It uses steel columns, threaded rods and a solid base to address any issues your crawl space may introduce to your home. Installing this system usually takes less than a day and it provides immediate stabilization.

The basement windows in this Lapeer, MI home were outdated, poorly sealed, and not energy efficient. The old windows allowed drafts and moisture into the basement, contributing to discomfort and potential long-term damage. Additionally, the windows did not meet modern safety standards for egress. To fix it we had to replace the old basement window with a new 32x14 vinyl slider window. This new window enhances energy efficiency and seals out drafts while providing better insulation and improved security. The window was installed with a foam sealant around the edges to ensure a tight fit, further enhancing the barrier against external elements. The new installation also meets egress requirements, ensuring safety compliance in an emergency.

Jared needed to get his crawl space professionally sealed up so he called Ayers for help. After an inspection our crew determined he needed CleanSpace. With CleanSpace, this thick plastic liner has a vapor barrier that will protect against excess moisture that leads to mold or bacteria. It is waterproof and much more effective than a regular tarp you can buy from the store. The Drainage Matting we put under the liner will catch any water leaking and direct it to the sump system as well.
