John had huge cracks running the length of one wall and another wall that was bowing inwards. He was worried about the foundation problems in his basement, so he called our team. We installed the GeoLock Anchor system that permanently stabilizes walls. In most cases, it can eventually straighten the wall back to its original position. The system is installed by putting heavy anchors in stable soil away from your foundation wall. This system is ideal because it involves minimal disturbance to your lawn and home.
Monique K. had a damp crawl space that was smelly and cold. Water saturated the pink fiberglass insulation lining the ceiling which could lead to mold growth. The dirt floor allowed cold air to enter the space and had no insulation to ensure a dry, clean environment. We added a CleanSpace water vapor barrier to ensure no water entered the space as well as a drainage mat to channel water to the sump pump.
John had one wall with huge cracks running the length of the wall and another wall that was bowing inwards. He was worried about the foundation problems in his basement so he called our team. We installed SmartJack, a system that uses steel columns, threaded rods and a solid base to address stabilization issues. Rooms above crawl spaces are vulnerable due to the moisture and soils in crawl spaces. However, SmartJack is placed inside the crawl space to secure the rooms above. Installing this system usually takes less than a day and it provides immediate stabilization.
Water was flooding into Brenda’s crawl space. When in her crawl space, you could see light, therefore it was not properly sealed. So she called our team and we installed CleanSpace. CleanSpace is a plastic sheet material used as a vapor barrier to restrict all moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space. Not only does this system create an energy-efficient crawl space, but it also gives your crawl space a clean finish. This material will be applied to your floors and walls to create a sleek look and an uninterrupted barrier.
The insulation in Brenda's crawl space was falling due to water intrusion. A poorly insulated crawl space can cause many problems, but mostly it increases your heating and cooling bills. In order to insulate her crawl space, our team insulated her rim joists. Small cracks and seams can exist around rim joists, but after insulating them all of those cracks are sealed off. Now airflow is restricted keeping outside air out and inside air in. Brenda will no longer have to worry about her crawl space being poorly insulated.
