There was no water coming in and the crack was only visible from the inside not the outside. A stair step crack is the first sign that a wall is bowing inward and that means water can get inside. These cracks are caused when the soil outside the foundation expands and puts too much pressure on the wall. 

To fix these cracks our team of experts installed Carbon Armor. Carbon fiber is a very high tensile strength material that is impossible to stretch. The straps are glued to the wall and it keeps them from bending or bowing more than they already have. Carbon fiber is a great option if the wall is bowing in at the middle not the top or bottom. It also works great if you don't have space on the outside of your home since it's all done inside.
