The homeowners had water coming into their home through one of their walls. At one point they had 3 or 4 inches of water pooling into their basement and damaging everything in the area. They knew something needed to be done so they called Ayers Basement Systems.
Our professional team installed the WaterGuard long lasting interior perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard sits on the top of the footing in the basement in order to prevent clogging from mud or other debris. The system works by capturing floor and wall seepage before it has a chance to damage anything in the basement. Once the water is trapped in the drain it is taken immediately to the sump pump. The sump pump then removes the water from your home!
The before picture shows the system once it is installed in the shallow trench and the after picture shows the system once it is completely installed and covered with a layer of concrete.
Rick G had sections of his driveway and garage settling. Our inspector noticed a void under his front porch that was causing the sinking concrete. Rick also noticed his garage door was unable to close all the way. We lifted and level the driveway and walkway using our highly engineered PolyLevel foam to fill the void and raise the sunken slabs. The foam cures quickly and Rick did not have to wait long to walk or drive on the leveled slabs.
This Grandville homeowner had some problems with the slabs in his sidewalk to the front door. He called to see if we had a solution to his fallen slabs that were becoming tripping hazards. We used PolyLevel to lift the sunken concrete back to the origianl position and make the walkway level again. PolyLevel is an injectable foam that is light weight but very strong. It is also waterproof and stable so it won't wash away or react with the soil. The best part is that it cures in about 15 minutes so it will not inconvenience the homeowners!
Sue called us to fix her crawl space because her partially finished basement was getting damp in the spring with the rain and critters had torn up some insulation. She wanted the crawl space to be sealed off to keep out the critters and keep the crawl space/house warmer and dry. We installed the CleanSpace Crawl Space Vapor Barrier. This liner looks like a pool liner but is more durable and keeps humidity and water vapor from passing through it. By keeping your crawl space dry, it also helps protect your structure and insulation from mold and rot. Using the CleanSpace liner to seal off the crawl space keeps the critters out so that the insulation is safe and the area could be used for extra storage.
Debra's support posts have started to corrode and some have slipped out from under the beam. With this happening, the support posts are not being supportive and her floors are starting to sag. We installed SmartJacks so her home could be safe and stabilized! These steel support posts not only keep the floor from sagging even more but they also lift the floors back up to the correct level.
