We returned to the home a short time later and encapsulated the crawl space with our patented CleanSpace encapsulation system.The CleanSpace encapsulation product is a thick durable plastic lining that fully seals off the crawlspace from the harsh elements it faces below. A customer needed help encapsulating her crawl space because it was damp and had mold growing in it. So our team installed CleanSpace, a plastic sheet material used as a vapor barrier to restrict all moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space. This Union Pier homeowner had a musty smell in the crawl space that they wanted fixed. We started by installing Drainage Matting which directs any water that gets in towards the outside of the home. On top of that, we installed the CleanSpace liner which seals off the crawl space. Lastly, we installed the SaniDry Sedona which is a small dehumidifier that can fit into most crawl spaces.

Homeowners in Grand Junction, MI wanted a forever solution to keep their basement dry. Our system design specialist knew a WaterGuard system would do the trick and our crew worked quickly to make it happen. This system is installed under the basement floor and works to prevent water from puddling by directing any moisture into the track system. Once the system is installed, concrete is poured back over making this a discrete, hidden, and effective system.

Our crew reinforced the floor joists above and put a series of 6 PowerBraces in place along the wall. The PowerBraces are a zinc-coated steel I-Beam that extend from the floor to the ceiling joist. They prevent the wall from bowing any further and help evenly support the weight of the home above. Another great feature is a unique tightening system at the top of the brace that allows the wall to possibly be straightened and brought back to its original position in time. The home can now be sold as any perspective buyers can rest easy knowing that a permanent fix is in place.
