David & Lindsey were searching for a new place to call home in Union Pier, MI. They thought they had found the home of their dreams until they asked their realitor to see what the home's crawl space looked like. What they saw was an amateur attempt to encapsulate the crawl space. There were giant holes in the plastic lining the craw space and it was cold and musty. David & Lindsey decided to put in a bid on the home, with the condition that Stephanie (the seller) would call professionals and have the crawl space encapsulated before they closed on the home.
Ready to sell her home, Stephanie agreed to the condition set forth by David & Lindsey. Knowing our company's founder (Virgil Ayers) personally made finding the right crawl space professionals an easy choice for Stephanie. We conducted our free inspection and proposed a plan that met the satisfaction of both parties involved.
We returned to the home a short time later and encapsulated the crawl space with our patented CleanSpace encapsulation system. The CleanSpace encapsulation product is a thick durable plastic lining that fully seals off the crawlspace from the harsh elements it faces below. This means the home's new owners David & Lindsey can be sure this this system has trully solved their concerns. Additionally SilverGlo wall insulation panels were installed to help lower the new home owner's energy costs. Thanks to the efforts of our team, Stephanie was able to sell her home, and David & Lindsey couldn't be more excited to buy it. Congratulations on the new home, and don't sweat! The encapsulation warranty will transfer over David & Lindsey.
A customer needed help encapsulating her crawl space because it was damp and had mold growing in it. So our team installed CleanSpace, a plastic sheet material used as a vapor barrier to restrict all moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space. Not only does this system create an energy-efficient crawl space, but it also gives your crawl space a clean finish. This material will be applied to your floors and walls to create a sleek look and an uninterrupted barrier.
This Union Pier homeowner had a musty smell in the crawl space that they wanted fixed. We started by installing Drainage Matting which directs any water that gets in towards the outside of the home. On top of that, we installed the CleanSpace liner which seals off the crawl space. Lastly, we installed the SaniDry Sedona which is a small dehumidifier that can fit into most crawl spaces.
Homeowners in Grand Junction, MI wanted a forever solution to keep their basement dry. Our system design specialist knew a WaterGuard system would do the trick and our crew worked quickly to make it happen. This system is installed under the basement floor and works to prevent water from puddling by directing any moisture into the track system. Once the system is installed, concrete is poured back over making this a discrete, hidden, and effective system.
Lynn and her siblings inherited their father's home and hoped to sell it in the near future, however, they were going to have trouble doing so until a bowed foundation wall in the basement was repaired. The horizontal crack in the wall is evidence of a problem that has evolved and grown worse over time. Our crew reinforced the floor joists above and put a series of 6 PowerBraces in place along the wall. The PowerBraces are a zinc-coated steel I-Beam that extend from the floor to the ceiling joist. They prevent the wall from bowing any further and help evenly support the weight of the home above. Another great feature is a unique tightening system at the top of the brace that allows the wall to possibly be straightened and brought back to its original position in time. The home can now be sold as any perspective buyers can rest easy knowing that a permanent fix is in place.
