Homeowners in Vermontville, MI kept their crawl space clean and organized but were still fighting a battle to keep it dry. With unfinished wood walls and dirt floors, moisture was soaking in and causing puddles to form that could eventually lead to mold.

CleanSpace, a white, durable liner, was brought in to seal moisture out of the crawl space. This liner acts as a vapor barrier preventing any water or humidity from passing through. Its mold resistant properties will keep any mildew and rot away as well as pests, insects, and smelly odors.  

This home in Vermontville, MI has a dirt floor crawl space that was an addition built underneath a porch. The homeowners contacted us looking to insulate and encapsulate the area. Both of these are very beneficial to the home to keeping the home comfortable year-round—with encapsulation providing a vapor barrier and insulation to prevent mold and moisture problems.

SilverGlo insulation was installed in this crawl space to provide a radiant barrier. Made with tiny graphite particles that reflect heat, this lowers the material's conductivity, reflecting heat back into the space. This not only keeps the cold out of the space, but also maximizes energy savings.

After our team insulated the crawl space, we installed a CleanSpace liner across the floor. Since the liner is 20mil thick made from many layers of polyester cord reinforcement, it’s durable and can be walked on. Installing CleanSpace provides a barrier for water vapor, and its antimicrobial additive prevents mold growth.

Rodney had some sunken concrete in his walkway to the front porch and the porch was sinking too. We used PolyLevel to level the concrete for both. PolyLevel is an injectable foam that is light weight and waterproof. You can be on the concrete in a short period of time since this foam takes only 15 minutes to cure.

Rodney had some concrete in his driveway that had sunk. We used PolyLevel to lift the concrete and restore it to the original level. PolyLevel is a strong, light weight foam that is injected under the fallen concrete. The foam is waterproof and stable so it won't wash away or react with the soil. The best part is that it cures in about 15 minutes so the driveway is full load bearing in just a short amount of time.

The customer called us in dire need of a solution for his leaking basement walls. Heavy rains and outside water pressure had made the problem worse.

We installed WaterGuard® in the entire basement to collect seeping water from their basement walls and drain it into the sump pump. As an added measure, we installed a TrenchDrain™ to catch water that may enter the basement from an outside entryway as well as prevent freezing in the winter. 

The customer also opted to install our new ThermalDry Elite Plank flooring with a beautiful walnut finish in their newly waterproofed basement. Our flooring is inorganic and waterproof, which means you don’t need to worry about your floor harboring mold.
