Bowing Wall in Zack's Basement Garage
Here's a photo of Zack's basement wall before installation. Zack was storing valuable tools and his car here and worried that wood rot due to water damage and mold might creep into the space.

Excavation of the Outside Trench
Excavation of the exterior trench for the ground anchors begins. GeoLock wall anchors are the perfect, minimally invasive solution for homes with enough space around the foundation for the anchors to extend out to stable soil. The process creates little disturbance to the landscape, and the trench will be backfilled before the team completes the job.

Ground Anchors
Holes are augered from the trench to the wall inside, a galvanized steel pole is placed and locked in with the ground anchors shown above.

Interior Wall Plates
Interior wall plates are placed inside the basement wall and locked into place. You can see the extent of the damage done by the water intrusion due to the destabilized bowing wall.

Project Finishing
The damaged wall is removed and replaced with fresh drywall. With the water intrusion and bowing wall elementary stabilized, our customer can gradually straighten the wall over time and finish their space with new flooring!
