CleanSpace
To prevent any water damage, Blade and his team installed a CleanSpace antimicrobial lining. The lining is placed on every flat surface and creates a barrier between vulnerable material and any moisture. Moisture is one of the greatest dangers to a home's safety. WAter invites microscopic organisms that eat organic material like wood which most homes support is made of. The "eating" causes wood rot which causes the structure to become weaker, risking a complete break. The rot is also a sign of mold and when mold spores are in the air they pose a risk to the residents' health, risking respiratory infections.
TripleSafe
To ensure the home's draining system is well equipped, Blade and his team fitted the draining system with a TirpleSafe sump pump. TripleSafe has three levels of safety to make sure the pump works around the clock. The first level is a powerful motor, one of the strongest available. The second level is a backup motor that activates if the water goes past a certain level. The third level of precaution is a reserve battery that is on standby if the home loses power.
SmartJack
To correct the compromised support within the rim joist blade and his team installed s aeries of SmartJack piers. The piers are steel beams that are placed strategically along the rim joist to provide maximum support. The bottoms of the beams are anchored into the ground with poured concrete and the tops are fixed with loadbearing joints. The joints are attached to the rim joist and the height of the SmartJack is adjusted till there is a constant source of corrective pressure.
Helical Piers
To reintroduce stability to the home's foundation, Blade installed a set of Helical Piers along the homes perimeter. The piers help when the soil beneath the foundation becomes unfirm and causes the the home to settle. The piers are large steel shaped posts with bottoms tha look like screws. They are driven deep into the ground at an angle towards the home, past the weak soil and into new firm dirt. The tops are capped with loadbearing conctete blocks that the home now rests on. The Helical Piers are designed to be a permanete solution to foundational settling that does not require a full replacement of the home's foundation.
