Mario has vertical and diagonal cracks on his basement wall as well as cracks outside the home. The wall support is weakening as the walls get worse. We first installed the CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System to stabilize the wall and to keep the cracks from getting worse. The system is made up of flexible carbon fiber fabric straps that are up to 10 times stronger in tension than steel that are bonded to the wall using high strength resin. It requires no exterior excavation, installs quickly, and won't impact future basement finishing. We then installed the PowerBrace Wall Repair System which consists of of steel beams that are secured to the joists above the wall with steel brackets. The system can stop any further damage and potentially straighten the wall. These do not involve any exterior excavation and installs quickly with minimal disruption to your basement space.
