Hazardous Bowing Walls in Grand Rapids

Challenge

Linda W. had lived in her home for three years and was ready to start making changes. Hoping to finish her basement, she called Ayers Basement Systems to solve her foundation problems once and for all. Bowing, cracked walls had prevented her from achieving her goal to make her basement a safe, comfortable living area.

Solution

CarbonArmor and Geo-Lock Wall anchors were used to stop the damage and make Linda’s home safe again. The installation took only one day, and the bowing walls have been permanently fixed.

Geo-Lock wall anchors permanently stabilize the basement walls by connecting two anchors, one inside the basement and one outside, with anchor rods. They Ayers crew used 12"x18" interior anchors were used to keep a low profile and not interfere with Linda’s plan to finish her basement.
