Conducting an Inspection
An Ayers Specialist concluded that water was leaking through the foundation and into the crawl space. Additionally, the vapor barrier was deteriorating, as shown above, and a new one was due.
Implementing Waterproof Systems
Michael and Joyce opted to install drainage matting alongside a new vapor barrier. Drainage Matts utilize dimples to create paths for water to flow toward the sump pump!
Laying Down CleanSpace
Once the drainage matting was laid down, the crew at Ayers could lay down the CleanSpace Liner. CleanSpace utilizes a heavy-duty plastic liner that acts as a vapor barrier. Once the liner is installed, any water leaking through the foundation will drain behind the liner and directly to the sump pump!
Eliminating all Remaining Moisture
The air in Michael and Joyce's crawl space had high moisture levels, so the team suggested the SaniDry Dehumidifier. This system is 10x more powerful than an average household dehumidifier and will drain directly to the sump pump. Michael and Joyce were thrilled that Ayers found them a lasting solution!
