Harboring Moisture in Dirt Floors

Dirt floors are typical in a crawlspace however they often harbor moisture ultimately allowing mold, mildew, and pests to breed. Odors also cling to the dirt and miscellaneous debris.

Fiberglass Insulation Cons

When fiberglass insulation becomes wet or damp it does not insulate as well as dry insulation. The weight from the moisture will pull it from the ceiling, leaving It messy and scattered across the perimeter.
