You Can't Always do it Yourself
Jason had laid down plastic in his crawl space but with so much water traveling freely it did nothing to improve the circumstances of any of his crawl space problems.
If its Cold Down Here... its Cold up There
There was a lot of moisture and condensation in Jason's crawlspace. The frozen condensation on this pipe is proof that this crawl space is cold, meaning his pipes could have completely froze this winter. Nearly 1/3 of the air down here in Jason's crawlspace will make its way up to the main level of his home. Let's just say Jason's home must feel freezing cold!
Crawl Space Vents are a BAD Thing
Despite myths, Jason knew having crawl space vents was very bad. That's why he tried to cover his up. Unfortunately, this makeshift solution was still letting cold air and moisture into Jason's crawl space. Thankfully we offer crawl space vent covers that will fit on securely and create a seal to keep the outdoor elements outside. Our friend even got to chose what color vent covers best suited him.
It's Time for Some Super Sumps
Jason's new Super Sump pumps are now being installed! The pumps contain an air tight lid, floor drain, pump stand, and a pump alarm. This two-pump effort will help keep his crawlspace dry.
Let's Role out the CleanSpace Drainage Mat
The CleanSpace drainage mat is now being put into place. This mat will allow water below to easily flow to the nearby sump pumps for removal from Jason's home.
Bring on the Energy Savings
The CleanSpace encapsulation system has now been installed in our friends' home. This system will begin improving the energy efficiency of his home almost immediately.
No Dehumidifiers Perform like the SaniDry
The SaniDry Sedona installed in Jason's home will control the relative humidity in his crawlspace and promote healthy air throughout the entire home.
Our Work is Done... Wait Almost
To complete our friend's crawlspace energy efficiency makeover; we incorporated the use of yellow spray foam insulation. This insulation will act as a barrier against insects and weather-related conditions.
IceGuard Ensures Proper System Function in Cold Weather
The last thing we have to do is install the discharge line. The two IceGuard fixtures right next to the home will allow water to be directed away from the home, even if the discharge line freezes. Installing a discharge line gives water from the Super Sump pumps the opportunity to flow away from Jason's home. The Lawnscape outlet on the end prevents the line from clogs, is convenient to mow around and adds beauty to the home.
