PolyLevel Injection in Grand Rapids, MI

Challenge

A couple recently came to us with the complaint that their driveway had sunken in some spots and was causing puddling near their garage. When we arrived to check out the damage, we found that a spot in their driveway had sunken almost 4 inches! With the weight of vehicles and machinery over time, sinking concrete is normal as settlement can shift and become unstable. However, this is an issue that could become a major problem if not addressed, so we were happy they gave us a call before it became more serious.

Solution

The solution was clear, the driveway was in need of a PolyLevel injection. PolyLevel works to lift sunken driveways or sidewalks, stabilizing the area in a quick and controlled manner. This high-density foam is waterproof, noninvasive, and works into voids and loose soil to expand and lift the settled concrete.  

To address the puddling issue, a TrenchDrain was installed to redirect any excess water away from the garage and driveway area.
