Finding the Perfect Location

Our System Design Specislist helped homeowner Matt pinpoint the perfect location in his Marshall Michigan basement for the family's new egress window install. Initially used as a catchall space for storage, the egress window will transform this space into a safe, sunny bedroom.

Excavation and Installation of the Egress Window

Dirt was excavated around the foundation where the new egress window would be placed. The foundation was then cut, and the new window and frame were placed. The space is instantly transformed into a brighter room.

Stones are placed at the bottom of the galvanized window well for moisture drainage. a sturdy ladder will allow for emergency escape in the case of fire or other disaster, keeping Matt's daughter safe.
