Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Putting an End to Standing Water in Bridgeport, MI

Tom was clearing standing water from his basement and contacted us at Ayers Basement Systems to ensure a flood would never happen again! An inspection by an Ayers specialist had determined that water was coming in through the foundation, especially where the floor and wall meet. Additionally, since Tom had no sump pump present if water worked its way into the basement, there was no way for the water to get out. The team at Ayers suggested various products to solve Tom's issues!

Implementing Draining Systems

Tom opted to install CleanSpace in addition to the WaterGuard System. CleanSpace is the white liner shown above and provides a vapor barrier against leaks. Any water entering the home will go behind the liner and into the WaterGuard drain!

Utilizing a French Drain System

Tom opted to install the WaterGuard system for his basement. This system sits below the basement floor and above the home's footing, so it's out of the mud zone and won't get clogged. Any water draining from the CleanSpace liner will funnel into this drain and directly to the sump pump!

Implementing the TripleSafe Unit

Since Tom did not have a sump pump present in his home, the team suggested the TripleSafe unit. TripleSafe utilizes three different pumps within one liner for maximum security. The bottom two pumps can efficiently pump more than 5,000 gallons of water per hour out of an 8ft overhead. The third pump is connected to an external battery and will run even if the power goes out!

Covering the Systems Back Up

Once all the systems were installed, the crew covered them up, eliminating them from view! Tom was thrilled that his basement problems were solved, and everything looked great!
