Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: New Egress Window Installation in Goshen, IN

Wesley was finishing his basement, and the last thing he wanted to do was put a new egress window in. While there was a window there, it was tiny and dint let much sunlight in. Wesley was looking for a larger window with the ability to exit in case of energy. He decided to contact Ayers to explore his potential options. After the team conducted a home inspection, they had the perfect solution for him!

Ayers Initial Inspection

Shown above is what Wesley's pre-existing egress window looked like. Once Ayers got on the job, this egress window became night and day different!

Installing the New Window

The first step in the project was to remove the preexisting widow and make the whole in-the-wall big enough to fit the window Wesley wanted. Once the wall was prepped, the new egress window was inserted into the slot and sealed! Then the team could work on the outside reveal!

Installing the RockWell Window Cover

Wesley wanted a product that would provide the house with a watertight seal to prevent leaks. The team suggests the Rockwell cover, which looks good and offers a waterproof seal!

Finishing the Installation

Once the window cover was installed, Wesley installed the Rockwell Window Lid. Not only does the lid provide a watertight seal, but it gives a nice clean look! Wesley was thrilled with the entire project as everything turned out perfectly!
