Another day, another leaking block wall basement. It isn't uncommon for these types of walls to leak, and after a heavy storm the customer noticed a substantial leak at the seam of the wall and floor of the basement. We installed WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement and a new TripleSafe sump pump to get rid of the water. From here on out, the basement should be dry.

It's necessary to cut the walls a certain height above the floor in order to install the WaterGuard system.

TripleSafe installation begins

The installation of the TripleSafe sump pump begins by cutting back part of the floor in order to place the pump properly in the ground. This concrete is replaced at the end of installation.

Concrete is replaced after WaterGuard Installation

After the installation of the WaterGuard drain system, we pour new concrete to restore the floor. It looks dark in the photo because it's still wet; when it dries, it will be the light color you're used to. And might be an incentive to wash the rest of your floor.

TripleSafe installation is complete

After the pipes are connected to the discharge line and the TripleSafe sump pump is fully installed, new concrete is poured to replace what was removed.
