Mary's Basement Prior to Installations
This is an inside look at Mary's basement prior to our waterproofing installations. She had no sump pump present and water leaks through the wall after heavy rains so a new system was needed!
WaterGuard Installation Process
First we added our WaterGuard System which is a sub-floor drainage system that will collect this water leakage happening through the walls. It is installed around the perimeter of the basement and rests on top of the footing of the foundation. the water will be rerouted to the sump pump.
After WaterGuard Installation
Here is a look at our WaterGuard System after the installation. The system is concealed with concrete and if Mary is looking to finish her basement in the future, she will be able to install regular flooring over WaterGuard. The gray WaterGuard Port pictured here as well makes maintenance checks quick and easy.
TripleSafe Sump Pump System Saves the Day
Mary was in desperate need of an efficient sump pump system so we decided to go with TripleSafe which is a three pump system that fits in one durable liner. This will keep the water leaks under control so she won't have to worry about water damaging her belongings. The first pump will do most of this job but the second is there for backup. The last pump is battery-operated so it will turn on in power outages.
IceGuard for Added Protection
We also added IceGuard to her exterior discharge to protect them from cold or harsh weather. This is an antifreeze fitting with slotted openings that will eject water away from her foundation. Mary was happy to get a trustworthy, long-lasting waterproofing system installed to protect her home!
