Zach's Basement Prior to Waterproofing Installations
This is an inside look at Zach's basement before he got our waterproofing systems installed. He was dealing with puddles and water damage so he was ready to get this issue permanently solved!
Process of the WaterGuard System
We started by installing WaterGuard which is a sub-floor drainage system perfect for these water leaks as it catches water or dirt leaking in through cracks in the wall and directs it to the sump pump. It is installed along the perimeter of the basement, effectively taking care of these puddles he was dealing with.
WaterGuard System After Installation
After we placed the drain in the drainage stone and attached it to the sump pump, concrete was then poured over to conceal it. If Zach wants to finish his basement he can also have regular flooring installed over this.
TripleSafe Sump Pump Systems Takes Care of the Leaks
Next we added TripleSafe which consists of three pumps that fit in one durable liner that will team up to rid his basement of water. The first pump will handle most of the water leaking, the second is there for backup, and the last pump is battery-operated so it will run if the power fails.
SaniDry XP Dehumidifier Filters the Air
With the SaniDry XP Dehumidifier, this will ensure the air in his basement remains clean and dry. This will help with preventing mold development as well. It is ten times more powerful than regular dehumidifiers.
IceGuard Provides Additional Defense
Finally we decided he could use IceGuard as well to ensure his exterior discharge lines remained protected in cold or harsh weather. The slotted openings pictured here make sure water coming through gets ejected so the lines won't freeze or clog.
