Ron's Basement Before our Waterproofing Installations
Ron was working with an ineffective system prior to these installations we made. A system that allowed water to seep into his basement, causing problems and soaking his belongings. Our waterproofing solutions will take care of this stressor.
WaterGuard System Installation Process
First we began with installing WaterGuard which is a sub-floor drainage system that will collect dirt and water leaking through the walls. The flow will be directed to the sump pump Ron has already. First the concrete around the perimeter of the basement will be removed and the drain will be placed there and the lines will then be hooked up to the sump pump.
WaterGuard System Finished Look
After the drain was placed in the removed concrete around the perimeter of the basement and hooked to the sump pump, concrete gets poured over to conceal it. If Ron is looking for a more finished look, he can even have regular flooring installed over this in the future. The gray WaterGuard Port also pictured here makes service inspections quick and easy!
IceGuard Added for More Protection
Next we went ahead and installed IceGuard to his exterior discharge lines. This is a great addition because it defends against clogging or freezing during cold/harsh weather. The slotted openings allow for water to escape so it doesn't clog or freeze.
LawnScape Outlet for Exterior Help
The benefit to adding the LawnScape Outlet to this waterproofing job is that it is an underground extension to the drainage lines that allows downspout water to escape. It is also better than typical ends to drainage lines because it is buried in the ground which prevents any tripping hazards.
