Preparing for the Sump Pump
The first step when installing the sump pump into Holly's house was to remove the concrete and dig down to a level where water is prevalent. Once the desired depth was met, the liner for the pump was placed and surrounded by rocks.
Applying Drainage Matting
Drainage Matting is the dimpled black matting shown above. The purpose of the dimples is to create paths for water to funnel toward the sump pump eliminating the change of stagnant water.
Finishing The Installation
Holly opted to have CleanSpace installed in addition to the sump pump. CleanSpace encapsulated the entire space and created a moisture barrier. Additionally, Holly opted to have the SmartSump installed, which houses. A powerful pump system! Any water in Holly's crawl space will be efficiently pumped out!
