Holly's home had various water issues within her crawl space. She decided to contact Ayers and set up a home inspection. The team at Ayers concluded from the inspection that water was seeping into her crawl space through the perimeters of the home. Since Holly did not have a sump pump in the crawl space, water could not get out of the space. Thus, the SmartSump was installed, efficiently pumping any water out of Holly's crawl space!

Preparing for the Sump Pump

The first step when installing the sump pump into Holly's house was to remove the concrete and dig down to a level where water is prevalent. Once the desired depth was met, the liner for the pump was placed and surrounded by rocks.

Applying Drainage Matting

Drainage Matting is the dimpled black matting shown above. The purpose of the dimples is to create paths for water to funnel toward the sump pump eliminating the change of stagnant water.

Finishing The Installation
