Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: WaterGuard Installation in Vicksburg, MI

Deloris had water coming into her cottage basement and didn’t know what to do about it. She was tired of trying to clean it up all the time. She called Ayers for an inspection, and our crew determined she would need WaterGuard. Deloris was thrilled with the work completed by Ayers and so so excited to stop dealing with constant flooding.

WaterGuard Part 1

WaterGuard is a sub-floor waterproofing system that collects water that leaks through the walls and keeps dirt away from the foundation. First, the floor is dug up along the perimeter of the basement and rocks are placed down for extra drainage.

WaterGuard Part 2

Next, the actual piping and matting that collects and directs the water away from the home is laid down. Since the piping sits on top, and not along the footing, WaterGuard can't get clogged with mud.
