Bea’s home has been in her family since it was built in 1984. Her father recently passed away, so she wants to fix it up and rent it to her nephew. The basement walls had cracks that she had fixed before, but were not properly sealed, causing water to come inside. Bea wants the basement to be able to be a functional storage room, but that can’t happen if it floods whenever it rains. She called Ayers for an inspection and our crew determined she would need a full waterproofing solution including WaterGuard, a TripleSafe Sump pump, and CleanSpace Wall System. Bea was very happy with the final product our crew was able to provide for her. She is excited to be able to rent it out to her nephew and his new wife!

Before

This was Bea's basement during the initial inspection. There are water stains and cracks in many of the walls and floor. Luckily, Ayers will make it like new again!

WaterGuard

WaterGuard is a sub-floor waterproofing system that collects water that leaks through the walls and keeps dirt away from the foundation. It is installed along the perimeter of the basement and on top of the footing of the foundation. Concrete is poured on top and regular flooring can be placed on top.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

The TripleSafe Sump pump system utilizes three pumps in order to remove excess water from the basement. The second and third pumps are in case of emergencies so the basement can remain dry, even when the power goes out.

CleanSpace Wall System

CleanSpace Wall System is a moisture barrier that uses a thick plastic liner along basement and crawl space walls to keep them dry and last decades longer. It also has antibacterial properties that prevent mold and bacteria growth. Damp air takes more energy to heat and cool. Cutting down on the moisture in the crawl space, in turn, will cut down on how much it costs to heat or cool the home.
