Joe B attempted to use the space in his unfinished basement as a library and office space. He made that space work for three years until a persistent leak, brought on by heavy rains, caused the space to become unliveable. In an effort to reclaim his basement, Joe contacted Ayers to help seal the leak where his brick wall and foundation wall met. We installed an internal drainage system along the leaking wall to capture water entering the basement. This WaterGuard system is a French drain installed below the floor slab but above the foundation footing, keeping it out of the "mud zone" and preventing clogging. The WaterGuard system will now collect that intrusive water seeping in from the walls and drain it into Joe's sump pump.
