Wall Stains From Incoming Moisture
Staining on the wall is an indicator of moisture coming in.
Staining Along Several Walls
These wall stains are spread throughout the basement on several walls requiring protection around the entire perimeter of the home.
Moisture Along The Ceiling
In this area of the basement, it appears as if water is coming in at the ceiling and flowing down the wall.
Concrete Removed
To begin the installation process, we remove concrete around the perimeter walls to expose the home's footer.
Weep Holes Aid Water Flow
Once the footer is exposed, weep holes are drilled in the block to aid the flow of water trapped in the blocks into the WaterGuard system.
Drainage Stone Surrounds System
Drainage stone is filled in around the WaterGuard system and is used to level the drain to ensure proper flow to the sump pump.
Protection Around Obstacles
The WaterGuard system even protects underneath the stairs, keeping this one continuous system along the basement's exterior walls.
A Nearly Invisible Protection
Once concrete is replaced over the WaterGuard system, all that shows above the ground is flange along the base of the wall. This allows water to flow freely into the system below the concrete.
WaterGuard Is One Continuous System
The WaterGuard system travels the full length of all perimeter walls, around every corner so that no place in this basement is left unprotected.
Inspection Ports
Inspection ports as seen in the middle of the new concrete here allow for easy servicing if necessary in the future.
TripleSafe Features
The TripleSafe Sump System has several great features. Primarily, it is a 3-pump system using one main pump for most of the work, a second pump in case the first fails or can't keep up, and a third pump that operates off of a marine-style battery backup in case the power goes out. The lid to the crock is airtight to keep mustiness and humidity in the basement controlled. It also features a floor drain and a WaterWatch alarm to alert the homeowner if all pumps have failed and the water is getting dangerously high.
Trench Dug For Discharge Line
When we dig our trenches for the discharge lines, we place the dirt in buckets or on plastic in the yard so that the soil can be returned and grass laid back over top, leaving minimal damage to the yard.
IceGuard Protects Against Backed Up Water
IceGuard fixtures along the house give water an escape route in the event that cool temperatures cause water to freeze and back up in the discharge line.
