Michelle and Chad R. were thinking about buying a property but wanted an inspection done first. The basement was damp in one corner and water was beginning to pool in the area. After taking out sections of drywall, mold was found due to the excessive amount of incoming water. The home had an existing sump, but no pump or discharge line so they wanted to install an effective pumping system to remove the water from the area. For this project we installed the WaterGuard system, WaterGuard inspection port, a SuperSump, an additional discharge line, IceGuard and a LawnScape Outlet.

Effective Drainage System

The WaterGuard system is installed around the perimeter of the basement. The specialized pipes collect water coming in through the walls and funnel it directly to the sump pump.

Access to WaterGuard System

Here we installed the WaterGuard inspection port that provides us with easy access to the system if needed.

Pumping Water Out With SuperSump

SuperSump is an economical sump pump system that protects the basement from any water intrusion. The powerful Zoeller pump can pump up to 2,220 gallons of water per hour to ensure the home is safe.

IceGuard Combats Cold Winter Conditions

IceGuard is installed on the discharge line and has specialized holes that allow water to exit the sump pump even if the pipes freeze. Without this system, water would re-enter the home causing a flood.

Adding a Much Needed Discharge Line

This property did not have an existing discharge line to direct water outside of the space. This effective discharge line will make sure any water entering the WaterGuard system and the SuperSump will exit efficiently.

LawnScape Outlet Guides Water Away From Property

The LawnScape outlet is installed at the end of the discharge line and is placed out away from the home. The outlet is used to lead water away from the property to prevent it from coming back and causing a reoccurring problem.
