WaterGuard Installation
A perimeter drainage system called WaterGuard is laid along the perimeter of the room to collect water from the walls if they leak.
Finished WaterGuard
The pipes from WaterGuard are mostly buried, except for a small space right by the wall so the water from the wall leaks can drain into it.
Soaked Wood
The framing of this wall was so soaked from the flooding that the wood crumbled.
Water Meets Frame
The water in the basement reaches the exposed wood frame in this corner of the basement.
TripleSafe Installed
TripleSafe contains 3 pumps within the sump, including one that's battery operated, so it can readily accept and pump out water no matter what.
Finished Basement Floods
The finished part of this basement looks great-except for the standing water on the ground. Most of this drywall will be removed in order to install a new drainage system to prevent this from happening in the future.
WaterGuard Meets TripleSafe
Not only does TripleSafe accept ground water, but it has an inlet hole where the water collected from WaterGuard is rerouted to so it can be pumped out of the basement.
