The CleanSpace Difference in Eaton Rapids, MI
Challenge
With the holiday season near, Barbara came to us wanting to spruce up her basement once and for all. If her basement was dry and inviting, it would give her that extra space for family and friends and alleviate any stress that came with storing her possessions down there. We knew exactly what to do, and set out to give Barbara the ultimate gift this holiday: a dry basement!
Solution
The first step to drying out the area was to install a TripleSafe system. With three pumps in this system, two acting as backups to the original, this is the most reliable sump pump we offer.
The second step was to install WaterGuard. This system is installed underneath the floor around the perimeter of the basement. The system prevents water from puddling on the floor by directing the flow towards the pump in the basement.
Next, IceGuard and LawnScape came into play. IceGuard was installed on the discharge line outside of the house. This sytems prevents the line from freezing over and causing floods or clogging during the winter months. LawnScape was brought in to expel any water from the basement into the yard. This outlet is at the end of the discharge line, and doesn't interfere with any landscaping.
Now that the basement had been waterproofed, it was time for the final step. To give Barbara's basement a more inviting feel, we brought in Brightwall Panels. These panels are quick to install, waterproof, and energy efficient while giving the area a more bright and clean feel. Happy holidays Barbara!
