Egress Window Brightens up Basement in Winamac, IN

Challenge

Recently, a customer came to us wanting to make the bedroom in her basement more comforting and livable. We suggested an Egress window, as it allows sunlight to come into the basement and brighten up the entire space. 

Solution

The first step was to dig out a hole for the window to go. Once that was finished, the rest of the process went quickly and smoothly, and the window was installed. Stone was placed around the window well and as well as a drain in the bottom tieing into the existing drain tile around the home. The clear lid was then placed on top, and the installation was finished. 

The products that were used are made from inorganic plastic that does not rot, rust, or crack like other windows or wells. So while our customer got her desired brighter basement, it will also remain dry and clean.
