Keeping Guests Safe with an Egress Window
Challenge
Susan has a finished basement in her home. It is used for extra living space and a room for her family to stay in when they are in town. She wanted to ensure the space was safe for anyone staying downstairs!
Justin went to inspect the house and listen to what Susan wanted for her home. He knew exactly what she was looking for and was able to help put her mind at ease with an egress widow to keep her basement safe!
Solution
Sheldon and his crew installed an egress window in Susan's basement. An egress is required for finished basement living areas. These windows are large enough to allow for a safe exit from the basement in case of emergencies. The window well outside of the egress has steps to help in a safe, easy exit. In addition to safe exits, the large window allows more natural light to enter the space making it seem cleaner, larger, and more inviting!
Susan can now have a brighter living area in her basement while keeping her guests safe in the event of an emergency!
