Photo Album: Shotcrete Seals Coldwater, MI Crawlspace
Cheryl and her husband John were previous customers of Ayers Basement Systems. They were so happy with the work we did last time that they wanted us to do more! The couple called Ayers for an inspection and were absolutely thrilled that we were able to squeeze them in before the end of the year. John was kind enough to already have the crawlspace dug to 8ft. so we could come in Shotcrete the walls.
Cheryl and John were ecstatic with the work we did on their home for the second time. They love Ayers and everyone on the crew! We are privileged to be able to have such amazing and loyal customers like Cheryl and John.
Crawlspace Before Shotcrete
This is Cheryl and John's crawlspace before we started the Shotcrete installation process. Shotcrete is a sprayable concrete that stabilizes crawl space walls and fills any holes letting in unwanted water or air.
Steel Framing For Shotcrete
First, we secure steel wiring to the walls for extra support and for something for the Shotcrete can adhere to.
Shotcrete After
Next, it's applied through a high-pressure house. The extra air propelling the concrete out is what makes the Shotcrete able to be applied to vertical and sloping surfaces. Finally, we smooth out any bumps or rough parts, so it looks perfect.
