Tim was in need of quite a few waterproofing measures for his Granger, IN home. He was having water leaking in the corner of his basement that needed to be sealed up so he called Ayers for possible solutions. We sent out our System Design Specialists to inspect these issues and it was determined he would need our WaterGuard System, our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, the CleanSpace Finishing Wall System, and our Egress Window.

Tim's Basement Before Waterproofing Job

This is a look at Tim's basement prior to the waterproofing system we installed. There was water damage from the leaks that were pooling in the corner of his basement.

WaterGuard Installment Process

Here we have the WaterGuard System installment. The WaterGuard is a sub-floor drainage system that is placed on top of the footing of your foundation and will run along the perimeter of your basement. It catches water and directs the flow to your sump system.

WaterGuard System Complete Look

The WaterGuard System is then concealed by concrete that is poured over top. Regular flooring can even be installed over this if you want to finish your basement. The gray port also pictured here is installed for quick, efficient, service checks in the future!

TripleSafe Sump Pump System Protects Basement from Pools of Water

The TripleSafe is a three sump pump system fitting into one sturdy liner. The first pump gets most of the water out and the second will run if backup is needed or the first fails. The last pump is battery-operated so it will turn on when your power fails. The water collected by the WaterGuard will flow to the TripleSafe, saving Tim from these pesky water leaks.

The Finished Result

This is the complete result of these waterproofing installations. You can see on the walls we even added our CleanSpace Finishing Wall System for additional protection as its poly sheet material covers the wall and acts as a vapor/moisture barrier.

Before Egress Window Installation

The final product we installed was our Egress Window. This was needed to replace Tim's tiny current basement window. This is the before look of his window.

After Egress Window Installation

Finally, here is the result of the new Egress Window installation. This was a great basement window replacement since these are larger which provide more natural light and circulate more fresh air in your basement space. We included a cover and lid for additional protection to ensure it remains sealed. They also provide a safe exit option for emergencies.
