Photo Album: The CleanSpace Helps a Kalamazoo, MI Couple Drain the Swamp in Their Crawlspace
Rod and Nancy, homeowners in Kalamazoo, MI were experiencing a constantly flooded crawlspace. They became increasingly concerned about mold growth under their home and how this would impact their young grandchildren’s health when they came to visit. Rod & Nancy were in desperate need of professional help, and they called us to their rescue!
Upon diagnosing Rod & Nancy’s crawlspace needs, we prescribed our patented CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system to help remedy their crawlspace concerns. The CleanSpace encapsulation product is a 20mm thick plastic lining that entirely seals off the crawl space from the harsh elements it faces below. To supplement the CleanSpace, we also installed the CleanSpace drainage mat to ensure maximum drainage to the two sump pumps. In addition to the CleanSpace system we installed two Smart Sumps. The Smart Sump is a budget conscious sump pump, system that contains an air tight lid, floor drain, pump stand, and a pump alarm. These are the essential features needed to help keep a basement dry. To complete Rod & Nancy’s crawlspace makeover, we installed the SaniDry XP, a high-performance dehumidifier and filtration system. In this couple’s crawlspace, the Sedona will help prevent mold and reduce musty odors, giving them dry healthy air and total comfort.
