Vents Become Access Point For Water
The coloring on the wall below this crawl space vent is a clear indication that it has become an access point for a substantial amount of water. Notice also the coloring on the wall about a block wall around the entire perimeter.
Damp Crawl Space In Need Of Waterproofing
This zoomed out view of the crawl space shows that the issue of dampness is not contained to a small area. This crawl space has been damp throughout and is in need of a full encapsulation system to ensure that it stays dry.
Water Enters Basement Through Wall Cracks
The dark coloring on the wall and floor show clear signs that water is entering freely through the cracks in the wall. By installing a perimeter drainage system, we can capture that water at the base of the wall and direct it to the nearest exit, the sump pump.
Base Of Wall Suffers From Excessive Moisture
The base of this basement wall has seen excessive moisture over the years. Our WaterGuard system will prevent moisture from puddling along the perimeter of the home and will inconspicuously direct the water out and away from the house.
Mold Builds Up In Rim Joists In Basement
This wet basement has a litany of issues with mold being one of them. As damp conditions have persisted, the organic substances like wood have become food for mold growth.
Finished Encapsulation Brightens Dark Crawl Space
This crawl space was damp and uninviting. Now the crawl space doesn't seem so intimidating. The strong CleanSpace encapsulation system creates an effective vapor barrier throughout the entire space, from the walls down.
Columns, Walls Protected As Well In CrawlSpace
Not only does our CleanSpace layer provide superior coverage on the ground due to its strength and thickness especially compared to common cheap plastic barriers that we often see used, but we wrap the CleanSpace system up the walls and columns as well to make sure that the homeowner receives ultimate protection from water seepage and harmful water vapors.
WaterGuard System Is Almost Unnoticeable
The WaterGuard system requires a small area of concrete around the perimeter to be removed. The drainage system is laid right on the footer and then the concrete is replaced with the exception of a small gap along the base of the wall where water is captured and directed into the drainage system. Once the concrete is replaced, you almost don't even know that the system is there.
Waterproofing In Tricky Areas Still An Option
The WaterGuard system does require some minor excavation around the perimeter of the basement so what can be moved should be moved. For built in features, however, if we can safely excavate, we'll do our best to make it happen and give you a comprehensive solution you can rely on throughout the entire basement.
A TripleSafe System Keeps Basement Protected In Outages
The TripleSafe Sump Pump system provides 24/7 protection we three different pumps. A 1/3 hp pump handles the bulk of the work. The second pump is 1/2 hp and kicks in if the other pump fails or can't keep up. Finally, a battery backup pumping system kicks on in the event of a power outage to keep you safe and dry when the power is out. A SaniDry XP dehumidifier also helps remove water vapor from the air and directs it to the sump pump system for removal.
