This customer called us because the ground of his rental property was slipping away from under him. The slab foundation of the duplex had begun settling into the soil, causing stabilization problems in both the outside deck and the interior of the home. The homeowner became aware of the problem after noticing cracks in the walls and large gaps between the outside walls and foundation. Our team was able to quickly repair this problem with a pier system and PolyLevel. After removing the soil directly outside of the house and under the slab, we installed helical piers to transfer pressure from the light topsoil to deeper, more stable ground. Once the soil was replaced, we injected PolyLevel below the slabs to counteract the voids created by the settling foundation. Thanks to our team, this customer can now go back to living above ground.
